Today I want to talk to you not about money, not about success, and not even about psychology in the usual sense. We will talk about something that governs all of this at once - your consciousness.
There is one paradox that I have been observing for years, and to be honest, it no longer surprises me, but it continues to destroy lives. People install alarms on their cars, armored doors in their apartments, create the most complex passwords for their phones and banking apps, yet at the same time they calmly leave their thinking completely unprotected. In fact, what you get is - the door is open. Anyone can walk in.
And here we recall words that everyone has heard, but only a few have understood. I will quote them in full now, because the second part is not an addition, it is the key to understanding the phrase. These are the words of Jesus Christ from the Sermon on the Mount, recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 6, verses 19-20.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
Usually this phrase is taken either into religious reasoning or into discussions about rejecting the material. But if we remove the habitual interpretations and look at it soberly, without illusions, what we have before us is not morality, but an instruction on managing consciousness.
Let’s break this down into modern language, without mysticism and without simplifications. “Moth” today is not an insect. It is informational noise that you let into yourself every day.
News feeds, other people’s opinions, imposed standards of success, constant comparisons – all of this quietly eats away at the structure of your thinking.
“Rust” is internal processes. It is anxiety, burnout, doubts, loss of inner support. “Thieves” are not always people. They can be situations, information flows, manipulations, environmental pressure.
And here we come to a point that many do not want to admit. A person can be successful, wealthy, educated, with experience and status, but at some point their thinking “starts to drift”. And it does not happen suddenly. It accumulates.
What are you really protecting – property or your consciousness?
Because everything you think, everything you live through, does not disappear. It is recorded. We live in a very complex time. Today consciousness is not an abstraction and not philosophy. It is a real resource of your organism.
Today it is not the one who has more financial resources who wins, but the one whose thinking is cleaner and more stable. And these are the very “treasures that are not stolen”. If you have this, you will pull yourself out of any situation.
Therefore, if you have started to notice that anxiety has increased, it has become more difficult to make decisions, distraction or internal noise has appeared, do not write this off as fatigue.
Here systemic work with consciousness is needed. You need to understand how the algorithms of consciousness begin to work today. If what I am saying resonates with you, it means you already see the problem.
WHAT YOU CHOOSE – is reflected now in the phrase known to everyone: “Where thought goes – there energy flows!” Consciousness is the only treasure that cannot be stolen if you yourself have not left the door open.
